Cotton washed sheets and the sweet musk of rain.

A teal blue rose watching over my sleep.

Cold biting in from the outside and beyond.

But it's warm and safe here, under cover.

Morning of, the light will stream through.

Wandering brown gaze and conflict to be.

A sigh let go, I am relieved from this week.

Sweetness, coffee, peach iced tea,

Chinese food down the street

A dark room with light from the TV,

Full stomachs and drifting off to sleep.

The sweet musk of rain and cotton washed sheets.

Cool October nights with pumpkin spice

A busted leg and a Drunken drag night.
